Brand New Food Concept Store Opens in Swanston Street

The former Nandos in close proximity to Melbourne Central is believed to be leased to the operators of the Little Temperance Café, Otherside and Thera. The 145 sqm shop at 1, 339 Swanston Street, Melbourne which also includes a 50sqm basement was believed to be leased for around $2,300 – $2,500 p/sqm on  a straight 10 year lease plus options. The operators are planning on launching a brand new food concept. Dean Alexander of Gorman Commercial who negotiated the deal on behalf of the long-term owners said, “The Tenant has taken a strong initiative to secure a prominent hospitality venue with the view of capitalising on a high foot traffic location once the CBD begins to open up.” Dean Alexander declined to comment on the rent achieved. The tenant was represented by Terrence Yeh of The Leasing Agency.
