Tenants Looking to Expand Their Businesses in Hawthorn

A number of long term vacant  properties have recently been leased by Dean Alexander of Gorman Commercial during the COVID period including two separate double-storey office buildings of 230 sqm each with older office fit-outs at 563 and 565 Burwood Road, Hawthorn which have been leased to a local retailer looking for office space and over flow storage and the other to Linda Black Vintage Furs who has relocated from a long-term tenancy in McKinnon. Gorman Commercial’s  Dean Alexander said, “Both tenants saw a great opportunity to expand their business in the current market where there has been an evident softening of rental rates particularly for  fringe properties. In both cases, the rents struck were circa $160 psm.”
